Hyderabad, June 23, 2007: ‘Genpact, which provides business services and technology solutions to global corporate companies, is setting up a Special Economic Zone, on the outskirts of the city.
Information Technology secretary SK Joshi and Genpact senior vice-president (Enabling Services) Ashok Tyagi signed a memorandum of understanding in the presence of Information Technology Minister R Damodar Reddy here today. The SEZ will come up on a 50 acre land at Jawaharnagar of Shamirpet mandal.
Genpact already has three facilities in Hyderabad providing diverse specialised services in domains of IT infrastructure management, enterprise applications, procurement and supply of chain services, finance and accounting services and customer service to clients across the globe.
Genpact will construct about 10 lakh square feet state-of-the-art office space in the SEZ with an investment of Rs 121 crore.
