Mangalore, November 19, 2007: Mangalore Special Economic Zone Limited has secured the final notification for the specific purpose of special economic zone from C.J. Mathew, Development Commissioner in-charge of Karnataka, on November 7. A press release from Kumble Narasimha Prabhu, president, Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Monday, stated that it marked the culmination of five years of consistent promotion efforts by the State and the KCCI as the growth engine for coastal Karnataka.
