SEZ for IT to come up at Tirupati

Tirupati, November 21, 2007: Decks have been cleared for setting up of Special Economic Zone-Information Technology (ITSEZ) in 147 acres near Tirupati. As per the directive of the State Government, District Collector SS Rawat recently asked the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) to keep the land proposed for ITSEZ ready to hand over it to the IT Department, which in turn will allot it to IT companies. Country’s first titanium SEZ work on fast track

Berhampur, November 21, 2007: If everything goes well Chatrapur will have the country’s first titanium special economic zone (SEZ). After successful completion of first-phase land acquisition for the SEZ, preparations are on to start the second phase.
