Bangalore, July 26, 2007: Legislative Assembly Speaker Krishna on Wednesday called for a consensus among political parties for setting up of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in the State. “There is a need for a consensus and at the same time ensure that farmers whose land is acquired, get full benefits”, he said during a discussion on demand of grants to various departments and suggested that the government come out with a clear-cut policy on SEZs.
